There are a few more reviews of Strange Powers: Stephin Merritt and The Magnetic Fields, and thus far they all remain wholly positive.  Spinning Platters does a good job summarizing the experience of the film while still keep a professionally vague distance, which is nice (thanks much to Gordon for providing me with the link to this one).  SF Appeal provides some pretty wry zingers from Mr. Merritt's afterword Q&A session with the audience.

Mr. Merritt is interviewed by NUVO here, and by the Louisville, KY paper Courier Journal right the fuck here (pardon my excitement on that last bit, I am a Kentucky boy, after all).  By far today's best interview, though, and the source of the Rutherford drawing, is this interview with L.A. Record.  I love when Mr. Merritt talks about art; it makes me nostalgic for his days as a critic...
